Francesco Petrarch a great poet and best know as the founder for Humanism in 1341 reconciled Christianity and classical and Roman Greek thought in his writings and revived interest in what had been dismissed as the pagan past starting the period called the RENAISSANCE or â€Å"rebirth†. The state of focusing less on God ´s interest and more on human’s interest was called the Humanism. Renaissance art was based on renewed study of the art of antiquity and of nature (Giorgio Vasari, Lives of the Artists (1550).) I believe that there are always people with talent everywhere , the problem is that not everyone is able take part of the activities they want because of financial problems, and here comes the Medici family. They financed building of cathedrals, the best artists painting them, schools and supported art. Its important to emphasize that thanks to the economic and political changes in Italy during the Renaissance there was a dominoe effect all across Europe. Arts were one if the main influence in the Renaissance, enriching the human potential and magnifying men had a profound impact on the development of Europe . These time was were the greatest contributors for the arts expressed themseleves. The Renaissance ´s infancy started with by Giotto and Cimabue in painting, Arnolfo di Cambio in architecture, and the Pisani in sculpture. Its adolescence continued with Masaccio, Donatello, and Brunelleschi, and ‘Maturity’ begun with Leonardo da Vinci and culminated with the model of the uomo universal, Michelangelo.
